Find us in the heart of Hiriketiya surrounding by the sweet soulful sounds of the jungle. Being in the jungle makes us a little bit harder to find. When you see our sign, just head up the road to the left and you will find us at the top.

We are located only a 5-minute walk from Hiriketiya Beach. If you’re standing on the beach facing the ocean, turn right and walk to the end of the beach. Once you reach the dirt road, turn left and keep walking. Turn right at the junction and you’ll find our sign. Turn a left up the dirt road.  You’ll find us at at the top of the hill! Our reception is located inside the house.

Our standard rate is 3,000 LKR per person per class. However, we offer discounts for residents and you are also able to buy a multi-class pass which gives you a discount per class.

Yes you can pay by card! We accept VISA, Mastercard and Maestro (no AMEX).  We charge a 3% bank fee for all card payments.

All our classes are drop-in. You don’t have to register in advance. Please sign in with reception once you get to Arise. Reception is located in the house. They will take your payment and show you the way.

If you want to guarantee yourself a spot for a class, you are more than welcome to sign up. We will reserve a mat for you. 

For all the classes/specials marked with ❋, we require booking in advance. You can sign up here or send us a DM on Instagram or a WhatsApp. These classes and specials are sign-up only as they often require a minimum number of students to attend and/or more preparation from our side, so it’s helpful to know the numbers. If you want to join any of these classes/specials last minute, just contact us and we can let you know if it’s running and if we still have a space for you as well. You’re always welcome to just rock up, but it might mean we’re fully booked or it is cancelled (without prior notice).

If you have signed up for  a class/special, we hold the spot until the scheduled start time. After that, it will be given to walk-ins.

No, you don’t need to bring your own mat. Of course, you are more than welcome to do so if you wish.

We provide mats, bolsters and blocks. All you need to bring is a bottle of a water.

Please wipe down your mats and roll them up at the end of class/workshop. The spray and wipes are provided.

We provide spray onsite and will burn citronella incense whilst classes are running for your comfort.

As we are in the middle of the jungle, you would expect to find pesky mosquito’s and sadly we can’t get away from them. Please be mindful of this and spray yourself before class.

Classes will start on-time, so please arrive 10 minutes early to get set up and all settled in. If you have signed up for a class, we will hold your spot until the scheduled start time. After that, we will give your spot to any walk-ins. 

There is parking available for scooters in front of the house. The road leading to our space is a dirt road so be careful driving up, especially when it has rained. It can be muddy and slippery.
